Homage to William Caslon

2016 marks 250 years since the typeface designer William Caslon died.

This poster response was an homage to the great crafts-mans’ life and work. 

Since typographic flower arrangements are often used at funerals to mark a persons life, it seemed a fitting medium to reconstruct one of the most elegant typographic characters. The Caslon Ampersand.
